A catwalk that’s part of the rig

Most catwalks bring their own engine and HPU and ask the rig to play nicely with them. The Range 3 Hydraulic does the opposite — it’s powered directly by the XDR 250’s PTO and integrated through Xenon, so the operator drives the catwalk from the same console they use to drive the floor.

The result is a tubular-handling system that behaves as one machine with the rig: rotating trough, PLC-controlled stop points, IECEx wireless remote, and SIL-2 control logic — with no separate engine to maintain, fuel or shut down on the well site.
